What can I say, my heart is in birth photography and babies! Everyone asks me how I do what I do, being on call for a birth at all hours, especially with three kiddos at home. Well, it takes a village I tell them. A village of people around me to be on call too when the hubby isn’t home. And I thank my village for that and for giving me the opportunity to do what I really love doing! Being on call and spending hours upon hours at hospitals is totally worth it to me when “the moment” finally arrives. The moment I see life happen, that first breath, the very first cry, the it’s a GIRL, the tears of happiness as a mom see’s her tiny baby enter the world, and the moment dad looks into his daughters eyes for the very first time! Gosh is it worth it!  Not to sound silly, but capturing this birth made my heart sing. I am always so thrilled when I get permission to blog a birth, and I am so excited to share this one! This birth was absolutely beautiful and perfect! This couple’s connection is so sweet, and so strong, and it made for such a wonderful story. What a privilege it has been to meet Brandon and Jacqueline, and to be there for them to capture the amazing experience of their first baby’s birth. Even more exciting was not knowing if they would be having a son or a daughter, which always makes a birth that much more exciting! Hearing, it’s a GIRL, was such a thrill for everyone in the room and the excitement was overwhelming. What an AMAZING moment!
