Are you wanting to master the art of newborn photography? You are in luck! I love helping others grow and find their own style. I have learned from the best newborn photographers in the world. I want to help others learn how to pose and work with babies SAFELY. I will share with you all of my knowledge learned over the past 6 years of working with babies! Now is the time to take your newborn photography to the next level and learn how I achieve beautiful straight-out-of-camera images. We will discuss the entire process! I will share how I plan the session with the parents of the baby in the weeks leading up to their newborn session, including all the tips that I give them to ensure a successful session. We will go over the setup involved in a newborn session. Then I will work through my posing flow from start to finish, including how I use angles to create a full gallery and most importantly how to safely pose newborns. At the end of our time together, you will get to watch me edit and see how I cull through an entire photoshoot in less than an hour! Ask questions and get a hands-on guided experience.
Each 1:1 session is specifically tailored to your needs-no session is the same! I will send you a questionnaire to help make your experience unique. Each session will take place in my studio in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. We will spend a good 8 hours prepping, posing, shooting, editing, and learning! I generally have 1-2 newborns in the studio for us to cuddle with. Lunch, snacks, and beverages are provided, so just come comfy and ready to learn!

ELIGIBILITY TO SIGN UP:
- Basic Knowledge of Lightroom or Photoshop {or both} & be working on a calibrated monitor for your own editing.
- Basic Photography Terminology
- You must own and understand a DSLR camera, understand camera settings, and be comfortable shooting in manual mode
- I recommend a prime lens such as a 35mm or 50mm lens {a 35mm lens is suggested for crop sensor cameras}
- Bring a notebook to take lots of notes!

- Total cost for 1 day 1:1 – approximately 8 hours = $1500
- $500 deposit due to secure a date | non-refundable

Due to the knowledge that is shared within a mentoring session, there is a 60-mile radius restriction from area code 37122. Those within that radius are not permitted to register.
HOTEL, FLIGHTS, & OTHER INFO:
You will fly into Nashville International Airport and the drive is approximately 20 miles to my home studio from the airport. Please email me for more information on places to stay if you will be staying overnight.
