Catching up today here on the blog, as this shoot was a while ago! Before pregnancy kidnapped my body and mind and giving birth to our third child had me hypnotized from being able to do anything other than hold and stare at our sweet son.  Haha! Well, I am back and happy to be blogging! : )

I worked with an amazing photographer and mentor on this little darling’s photo shoot who flew all the way from Texas to work with me!  Kathleen Lindemann is an amazing fine art newborn photographer in Wichita Falls and I admire her and love her work. Our styles are very similar and so we work together extremely well. As my love for newborn photography grows, I realize more and more what a special kind of photography, ART, it really is.  One doesn’t learn to work with newborns overnight.  It has taken lots of love, practice, and patience that has brought me this far. I crave learning new things, advancing my poses, continue to tweak my “organic” and “natural” style, and strive for perfection. I am honored to have worked along side Kathleen. She has learned from and worked with some of the very best in the newborn industry.  I have learned a lot from her over the past several months, and it is so nice to have other photographer friends who are as passionate about newborn art as I am.  I hope to work with Kathleen again, maybe a little trip to Texas is in my future!

It is no secret that newborns are my favorite!  I could cuddle them and photograph them every day.  My goal is to become the very best at what I do and there is always something to learn. I never want to stop learning and improving my skill! I’m excited about what is to come later this month, as I am one of 6 photographers who will be attending the Naturally Newborn Workshop with the fabulous Sandra Hill and Katy Brunkard in Canada!  Yes, CANADA!  I am so excited!!! I cannot wait to mentor with them and meet all the wonderful photographers who will be there. Of course Mr. Noah will be my traveling buddy and my family will get to meet him while we stay in Michigan for the week.  : )

Darling Evelyn was a little sleeping beauty for us this day! I adore every thing about this custom session and all of her sweet smiles. I love the pinks and purples and everything girly! She is just precious! Meet Evelyn Grace…
