I am so excited to share this wedding with you! I love shooting weddings and being able to capture every single moment of the big day for a couple. What made this wedding even better was that it was my dearest cousins! We are the same age and have always been very close, so when he told me that he wanted no one else to capture his wedding but me, I felt extremely honored! Now weddings up north are a bit different then those down south, and this was going to be a bit different of a wedding for me…
All the weddings I had done up unto this point were all outdoor southern weddings for the most part and did not require much flash. Preparing for my first ballroom type reception was a pretty big deal…I just had never done it before. This was my very first time ever using off camera flash (OCF) and also my first time using more than one flash set up at the same time. I am thrilled with the outcome of using multiple OCF and I am so glad I took the plunge and added it to my wedding style. Ok, so enough about flash! Lets move on and see this fun ballroom wedding! Did I mention that due to the Army, and a delay in orders, my cousin almost missed his big day? He flew in from Virginia on Saturday night, him and Lacey were married on Sunday, and he had to fly back out 1st thing when the sun came up Monday morning. Poor guy! I am happy to say he got released from Virginia the following week and he & his beautiful bride are in the middle of packing up and moving to Fort Stewart, just outside of Savannah Georgia! What a beautiful place to begin a marriage together! I have always wanted to go there… I may have to take a trip to Savannah soon! : ) Enjoy this little recap of Brandon & Lacey’s special day!
