I just have to share our latest party with you!  It was by far the cutest & funnest lil party we have ever had! I really had not planned on doing anything big for Carlee’s birthday, so I thought. Haha!  I was just going to have closest family & friends over for some cake, which we did do.  However, when I asked Miss Carlee what kind of cake she wanted, she said, “a BLUE puppy dog cake with cherries on top! I want a blue puppy dog party momma!” Hmmm….ok. Thats not what I was expecting! But, in leu of our two newest members of our family, Carlee wanted to celebrate her birthday in puppy dog style!

Now, I want to make something clear. NO, we did not get Carlee two puppy dogs for her birthday.  The timing just happened to work out that we got two puppies for Carlee’s birthday. Lol.  I have also decided that Pinterest is the Devil! When I started looking at ideas for Carlees birthday cake, of course, all of these other fabulously adorable decoration ideas started popping up.  It was the cutest darn things I had ever seen! So, of course, Carlee ended up with a fab birthday party and not just a cake. 🙂 All of this was so much fun to do and really simple.  Most of it I got at the dollar store and the rest was made out of construction paper so it was very finically savvy to put together!

I also made my very first cake! It turned out so much better than I thought it would when I first thought, “oh I will just make her cake”. I thought it would be a mess! Lol. I don’t do frosting, my OCD comes out strong! I end up having a nervous break down and so my hubs did the frosting!  It was a fab team effort! Thanks babe! So, go away publix, we don’t need you, Christie & Tim are in the house!  Haha!

Anyways, enjoy! If you want to have a seriously fun party, a puppy party is the way to go! Welcome to the family Canon & Kodak! Happy 3rd Birthday sweet Carlee bug! We love you oh so very much!
